Professional athletes sell and buy houses all the time, it’s nothing out of the ordinary, but the timing of Stephon Gilmore listing his Foxboro home certainly seems like more than a coincidence.

On Wednesday morning it was discovered that New England’s All-Pro cornerback put his house on the market. Putting your house on the market in the middle of the season is a bit out of the ordinary, but what makes this situation even more intriguing is that the Zillow ad says “all offers if any due on Tuesday, November 3rd at 5PM.” The NFL Trade Deadline is November 3rd.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom,5,118 sq ft house is listed for $999,000.

New Englands’ All-Pro cornerback has been among trade rumors since August and this recent development has certainly thrown more gas on the flame that the Pats could be moving the 30-year-old. It’s a smart move from Gilmore if he’s reading the writing on the wall, there’s no sense in keeping a house in Foxboro if you’re not going to be living there full-time.

Gilmore signed a five-year, $65 million deal with the Patriots in March of 2017 putting him firmly in the expensive player camp.

The three-time Pro Bowler has 20 total tackles, one forced fumble, and one interception through six games this season.
