Saturday’s matchup between No. 3 Georgia and top-ranked Tennessee was billed as the biggest game of the college football regular season. The Vols came in flying high and full of confidence after a massive home win over Alabama earlier in the season.

Tennessee fans showed even more confidence after leaked audio from a Bulldogs practice earlier this week. But through one half, Georgia has shown why its the reigning national champion.

The Bulldogs shut down Tennessee’s high-flying offense and Heisman Trophy candidate QB Hendon Hooker. And on the other side, Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett put in an incredible performance to give his team a 24-6 lead at the half.

Bennett finished the half 15-of-21 for 226 yards and two touchdowns. He also added a 13-yard rushing touchdown, and after that touchdown, dialed up one of the most savage celebrations that we’ve ever seen.

Bennett Mocks Tennessee Fans Who Leaked His Phone Number Before Big Game

Reports on Saturday morning stated that some Tennessee fans had gotten ahold of Bennett’s phone number. And, as any good fan would do, they shared that number. Bennett apparently received a number of phone calls throughout the night and leading up to the game.

So when he dove into the end zone on the touchdown run, his celebration was an easy choice.

Bennett immediately raised his hand to his ear, acting like he was talking on the phone.

Talk about an absolutely savage move. The Bulldogs are the reigning national champs for a reason, and it appears they have no plans on giving that title up.
