During today’s Broncos-Texans game, Broncos head coach Vance Joseph made a few questionable plays before the half which may have cost his team the game.
First, Joseph decided to go for a 62 yard field goal with 18 seconds left before the half.
A 62-yard field goal attempt with 18 seconds left in the half? C'mon, Vance.

Vance is an idiot. A 62 yard field goal lmao. Get this idiot out the headset

After getting the ball, the Texans were able to get into field goal range after a couple of plays and that’s when Joseph decided to ice the kicker right before Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn missed wide right.
Fairbairn was able to make the field goal on the re-kick much to the chagrin of Broncos fans.

Lol Vance Joseph does the opposite of icing a kicker😂 #FireVanceJoseph

Fairbairn misses from 48, bailed out by a Vance Joseph icing timeout, & proceeds to drill it on secondary try.
microcosm of the #broncos season right there

While heading into the locker room before halftime Texans head coach Bill O’Brien could be seen saying ‘Good job Vance, you dumb fuck”.
When yo opposing coach is saying this “Good job Vance. You dumb fuck” you’ve made the wrong hire 🤦♂️@NateKreckman @johnelway @salaams_from_68 pic.twitter.com/4VNNyCIIZq

The Broncos eventually lost by two points and fans were fucking pissed.
Loss falls on Vance Joseph for his end-of-first-half mismanagement. Simple as that.

Vance Joseph's coaching at the end of the first half and at the end of the game was bizarre

From Denver's perspective, Vance Joseph deciding to try a 62-yard FG (on a windy day) with 0:23 left in the first half is a much bigger reason for the loss than McManus missing a 51-yarder. In a 2-point loss, the Broncos basically GAVE the #Texans 3 points with a reckless gamble.
