Smith took to social media to complain about the NBA’s decision.
I swear I’m the only person they do shit like this to! So you mean to tell me i have to cover up my tattoo for what? You don’t make people cover up Jordan logos NIKE checks or anything else but because it’s me it’s a problem all of a sudden!!! Shit whack 🖕🏾

Twitter had some interesting reactions to the NBA’s policies.
No surprise here, JR doesn’t know what he’s talking about. https://t.co/T4ry6jWC4u

Can you imagine if that rule didn’t exist? You’d have players looking like boxers with off shore casino websites tattooed on themselves. No chance the league let’s you be a billboard for stuff they don’t get a cut of.
PS: a Supreme logo? Cmon bro stop being a hypebeast.

Who’s job is it to make sure every game that JR Smith covers his tattoo? I want that job

The NBA threatening JR Smith to fine him every game if he doesn't cover up his Supreme tattoo is absolute BLASPHEMY. The rules under Nike is that players can only wear the GEAR the team supports them. Headbands, sleeves, compression, etc. A tattoo is forever, not gear! Stupid
