The golf world was ecstatic to receive news from Tiger Woods that Big Cat would be playing in the upcoming Hero World Challenge. Tiger hasn’t played in a competitive tournament since July which has felt like an eternity for most golf fans.
The Hero World Challenge will be held the week of November 28 to December 4th. It is a tournament hosted by Tiger Woods at Albany, Bahamas. In addition to Tiger Woods competing, the field will include Scottie Scheffler, Tony Finau, Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa, and other top-ranked golfers.
Tiger made the announcement that he’d be playing in the Hero World Challenge official on Twitter:

This means that the greatest golfer of the modern era is set to compete in THREE events in the month of December: the Hero World Challenge, The Match VII (12/10), and the PNC Championship.

Tiger Woods didn’t compete in the 2021 Hero World Challenge but he was present. And this video of him blasting golf balls on the range went viral.
