There have been countless books written about Tiger Woods surrounding his golf game and personal life, but never one straight from the tiger’s mouth. That is going to change however as Woods announced plans for publishing a memoir directly from himself, his friends and family.
This memoir is the first and only account directly from Woods, with the full cooperation of his friends, family, and inner circle.
Woods said, “I’ve been in the spotlight for a long time, and because of that, there have been books and articles and TV shows about me, most filled with errors, speculative and wrong. This book is my definitive story. It’s in my words and expresses my thoughts. It describes how I feel and what’s happened in my life. I’ve been working at it steadily, and I’m looking forward to continuing the process and creating a book that people will want to read.”
The book will be title ‘BACK’ which is a pretty kick-ass name if you ask me. It will be interesting to see how in-depth Woods goes in relation to his personal life, divorce, and scandal. It’s essentially an autobiography coming from his own mind so it’s hard to imagine him putting himself into any sort of uncomfortable spot, but we’ll have to get our hands on the book to find out.
Nevertheless, this should be an interesting read for any golf fan – or person that likes to read about greatness – out there.
Tiger is set to kick off his 2019-20 season later this month at the ZOZO Championship in Japan.
The memoir will be published by HarperCollins and there is no set date for the release.
