This NBA offseason, the Philadelphia 76ers have been going through some big changes.

They fired Doc Rivers and replaced him with former Raptors coach Nick Nurse.

James Harden turned down his player option for next season and is still deciding whether or not he wants to leave the organization in free agency.

If he leaves, the franchise will likely look to replace him with another big name as they try to remain in contention.

They could also find themselves trying to trade one starter this offseason.

For a while now, some fans have been calling for the 76ers to trade starting forward Tobias Harris.

He was even linked to a ridiculous rumor this offseason about the Suns trying to Deandre Ayton for him.

Today, Harris took a shot at the 6ers fans calling for him to get traded.

He told NBC Sports Philadelphia that casual 76ers fans would trade him for a Crumbl cookie.

It’s hard to blame 6ers fans for wanting the team to trade Harris.

He has been easily one of the league’s worst contracts in recent years.

The 2023-24 season will be his last on a contract that has been paying him an average $36 million a year and it’s an investment that hasn’t paid off.

This past season, he averaged just 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

Luckily, with his contract expiring after the 2023-24 season, the Philadelphia 76ers may finally be able to trade him this offseason and use all of that money to try and get pieces that may be more impactful as they try to win a ring.

Tobias Harris may not like the rumors and believes the 76ers would have a hard time replacing him, but the fact of the matter is that he hasn’t lived up to his massive contract.
