During a recent appearance on the DeepCut with VicBlends podcast, future Hall of Famer Tom Brady explained what he sees as the “biggest problem” with young athletes these days.

“I think the biggest problem with a lot of f—— kids these days is it’s all about them,” Brady said. “It’s all about them. Their brand, their social media.

“When it’s about me and not us, well, there’s no way to succeed as a team, if all you’re doing is thinking about how selfish it is for you to get the attention.”

While that may come off to some as a “old man yells at clouds” type of statement, it doesn’t mean that Tom Brady is necessarily wrong.

It will be interesting to see if he brings that same attitude to the broadcasting booth when he begins working for Fox in the fall. Assuming he actually does begin broadcasting this fall.

After all, it was on this same podcast that Tom Brady admitted that he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning to the NFL at the age of 46.

NFL insider Mike Florio has not once, but twice in the past couple of weeks claimed that Brady is setting things up for a possible return.

“I think there are no accidents when it comes to Tom Brady,” Florio told Dan Patrick. “And for him to come out and say, after declaring last year he’s done and he’s never coming back … [that he] wouldn’t be opposed to coming back and playing, are you kidding me? That was huge.”

Florio would go on to say, “I don’t think it’s something that just flew out of his mouth, I think he’s ready to come back. And I think that was his trial balloon to see if anyone will call him. Just a couple of weeks before the draft, plenty of teams looking for quarterbacks … I think Brady wants to come back. He wants to be pursued.”

Then last Friday, after Brady posted a video of himself running shirtless, Florio again wrote, “it’s a reminder that Brady has opened the door to returning to the NFL.”

Watch his entire interview on DeepCut below and see you think he sounds like a guy who is done playing “for good.”
