Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were licking their wounds after traveling to San Francisco. The Bucs lost 35-7 to the 49ers and went into halftime trailing 28-0.

Tom Brady still managed to throw for 253 yards and a touchdown (2 interceptions). But it was a tough loss for the Buccaneers who moved to 6-7 on the season.

Putting the past behind him, Tom Brady invited comedy legends Adam Sandler, Tracy Morgan, and Bill Burr on his Let’s Go! podcast this week. Brady and these titans of comedy joked around for over 30 minutes (from 12:59 to 46:33 below).

At one point, 30 Rock and SNL legend Tracy Morgan asked Tom Brady what ‘the biggest touchdown’ pass he’s ever thrown was, aka Tom Brady’s most memorable touchdown pass of his career. Tom knew in an instant. It was a 4th Quarter 65-yard touchdown to Randy Moss against the New York Giants in Week 16 of the 2007 season.

That 65-yard bomb from Tom Brady to Randy Moss sealed put a bow on the Patriots’ 38-35 win over the Giants. And it secured Tom Brady and the Patriots a ‘perfect’ regular season.

Tracy Morgan asked “you’ve thrown many of them, but what was the greatest touchdown you ever threw? From high school to college to the pros.” Tom Brady said:

Tom Brady’s Most Memorable Touchdown Pass Of His Career

“I’d say the most memorable was ’07 at the Meadowlands, Giants, week 16… Fighting to be undefeated. I have Randy Moss. We’re both at this point where we can break an NFL record.”

“It’s I think the 4th quarter of the game. I need 1 touchdown pass, he needs 1 catch. He comes behind the defense, first down. When I throw it, it comes up five yards short.”

“It would have been an easy touchdown. We get to 3rd down, different play call, but Randy runs behind the defense and I threw it about as far as I could. As Brett Favre says, ‘I dropped it in there like a butterfly with sore legs.”

“It literally (sailed) right into Randy’s hands and he ran into the end zone on the 50th touchdown pass I threw, which was a (single season) record at the time. And Randy (with) 23 touchdowns which is still a record.”

“It was a deep pass, it was a meaningful game, it was a fourth quarter (TD), it broke records. Somehow had everything.”

Earlier in the conversation, Tracy Morgan asks Tom Brady if one of his Super Bowl rings went to his Brady’s mother. Tom says ‘she’s got a ring’ and adds that his ‘dad got the first ring’ and his mom ‘got the ring in 2016 when (they) beat the (Atlanta) Falcons.’ This came after Tom Brady’s mom had been undergoing cancer treatments throughout the entire season.

Tom said his ‘dad wears it all the time’ and he begs his dad to take it off when he’s in public for fear of his dad getting robbed in public.

Tracy Morgan called this entire conversation a ‘highlight of his career right here’ after calling Tom, Adam, and Bill all ‘GOATs’ of their fields.
