Phoenix Suns’ forward Torrey Craig suffered a brutal series of events on Tuesday night in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Torrey Craig played 22 minutes and had 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. He also lost a tooth in a series of events where he also got called for fouling his former teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis, meanwhile, had 36 points as the Bucks beat the Suns 116-104 in Phoenix.
The foul on Torrey Craig was questionable at best. Giannis came in hot, swinging and elbow, and not dribbling the ball. But Torrey Craig was moving…

As if getting knocked on the ground by 6’11”, 243-pound Giannis wasn’t bad enough. Torrey also got hit with the foul and while he was on the ground he realized he was missing a tooth and began to look for it on the court:
Shortly after this. Giannis knocked out Torrey Craig’s tooth. Yea. https://t.co/2qqI88ifTQ pic.twitter.com/tMJkTDoWQY

Adults only have 32 teeth. This man’s down 1 after a wayward elbow from Giannis on a play that was a coinflip AT BEST on where the foul should be called.
And to add insult to injury, the Phoenix Suns lost the game at home to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are currently 1st in the East while the Suns are 4th in the West.
It is very possible we see a rematch between these two teams in the NBA Finals. It remains to be seen if there’s bad blood now between Torrey Craig and Giannis after losing a tooth.
