A Shiver Appears To Run Down Travis Hunter’s Spine After Learning Dwight Howard Rocked His Jersey

One of the lone bright spots in Colorado’s loss to UCLA on Saturday night was Travis Hunter Jr. The two-way superstar had just three catches for seven yards, but his defensive performance was fantastic.

There were a lot of Buffaloes “fans” at the Rose Bowl for Coach Prime’s first game in Los Angeles. However, Hunter did not appear to appreciate the support of one particular fan, who probably was not even in attendance.

That would be former eight-time NBA All-Star Dwight Howard. It is entirely unclear as to whether Howard was actually at the game, but it seems unlikely.

Either way, he is currently being sued by a man named Stephen Harper. The man claims that Howard sexually assaulted him and forced him into a threesome at his home in Georgia.

In response to the allegations, Howard defended his behavior and denied any wrongdoing. The 37-year-old even went so far as to say: “I ain’t gotta tell nobody where I put my wood at!”

Fair enough, except the ongoing lawsuit goes far beyond simply putting his wood somewhere…

All of the allegations and questions that loom over Howard takes a once beloved dunk champion and makes him far less favorable amongst NBA fans. That list includes Travis Hunter.

As Colorado loaded up on the tarmac for their flight home to Boulder on late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, a pair Hunter’s teammates decided to mess with him. They told him that Howard was in the stands and was wearing his jersey.

Based off of his reaction (in a clip that has since been cut from the video), Hunter did not like that idea.

His face when someone said “Dwight Howard had a Travis Hunter jersey on” is hilarious. It was somewhere between disbelief and disgust.

To make the entire thing even funnier, there’s no evidence and little chance that Howard was actually at the game.
