The Kansas City Chiefs were honored at the White House on Monday for their Super Bowl win this past February. The Chiefs took down Philadelphia to land their second championship in the last four seasons.

All the KC stars were in attendance, including signal caller Patrick Mahomes and his favorite target Travis Kelce. That duo was involved in a funny viral moment that has the NFL world laughing.

After taking a photo alongside President Joe Biden, Kelce opted to call an audible rather than return to the stage with his teammates. The tight end called his own number and began addressing the crowd on a live microphone.

It didn’t take long for his quarterback to shut it down.

Now, Kelce has never been one to hold back in front of an audience. Outside of his impressive play in the NFL, he co-hosts a podcast with his brother, he’s guest-starred on Saturday Night Live, and he’s taken the stage at his own personal music festival.

While maybe not surprised, fans were still quick to react to the scene at the White House as they posted their commentary on social media.

One fan wrote, “This bit is so good that nobody in the comments section even knows it is a bit.”

Another said, “This is electric!”

This follower hilariously joked, “Trav was about to launch his 2024 presidential campaign,” while someone else posted, “I thought Mahomes was a secret service agent.”

Last season, Mahomes and Kelce teamed up to form one of the deadliest duos in the NFL. The two connected on 110 passes totaling more than 1,300 yards and 12 scores.

The Kansas City Chiefs will look to defend their Super Bowl crown in the upcoming season, and they’ll undoubtedly be considered one of the NFL favorites upon entering the year.
