Third-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has had a pretty good season this year for the Miami Dolphins. It has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but it’s been a marked improvement from his first two years.

He’s completed 64.8% of his passes on the season and has 24 touchdowns against 8 interceptions. And, his play has helped the Dolphins be right in the thick of the playoff picture.

Of course, the biggest moment of the season involved the Alabama alum’s health. The quarterback was the recipient of scary hits in back-to-back weeks that elicited an industry-wide outrage and changes on how the NFL handles concussions.

But, after he missed a few games due to the concussion, he helped the team string off five wins in a row to get to 8-3 and on the verge of a playoff spot.

The team lost consecutive games to the 49ers, Chargers, and Bills to drop to 8-6. But, They had a chance to take a big step towards a playoff berth with a win over the Green Bay Packers at home on Christmas Day.

But, Tua Tagovailoa had other ideas.

Tua Tagovailoa suffered a late-game meltdown as the Dolphins lost, 26-20

The first half went great for Tua and the Dolphins. The offense went up and down the field for twenty first-half points, and it could’ve been more. But, they only led 20-13, and the game was still in striking distance for the Packers and Aaron Rodgers.

And, they tied it up on an AJ Dillon one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

It was the fourth quarter when the Tua meltdown began. He ruined the first drive of his fourth quarter with this absolute duck.

Then, he followed that terrible pick with one that may be worse.

But wait, there’s more! After another Green Bay field goal, the Dolphins had another chance to take the lead and take a huge step towards the playoffs.

Instead, this happened.

Naturally, Tagovailoa is getting bashed on social media for his terrible meltdown.

He deserved all of that. The Dolphins are now 8-7, and the playoffs are in serious jeopardy.
