The New York Knicks are an absolute disaster right now. They are currently 9 games below .500 and in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. Things have gotten so bad at MSG that Stephen A. Smith doesn’t think Knicks fans should even show up to games anymore.
It has been a particularly miserable month of February for Knicks fans. They are 1-7 this month and have managed to blow 3 leads of 20 or more.
Just this week, they have dropped a home game against the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder and then blew a 28 point lead at home against the Brooklyn Nets without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, or Ben Simmons.
The Knicks seem to be inventing new ways to punish the fans who choose to support them and it seems last night’s loss has dropped them to new levels of mediocrity.
The Nets storm back to beat the Knicks 111-106.
Knicks led by 28 points with 6:44 to go in the 2nd quarter.
It's the 3rd time this month the Knicks have lost after leading by 20 or more. They are the 1st team to blow 3 20-point leads in the same month in the last 25 seasons. pic.twitter.com/TH7Weuv154

Prior to February, the Knicks were 9-0 when leading by 20 or more.
They're now tied with the Pacers for the most blown 20-point leads this season with 3 apiece.

It’s a new low for the New York Knicks as they have managed to do all of this damage to their season in just 16 days. There are only a couple of things that are going to save the Knicks from blowing any more 20 point leads this month.
The Knicks don’t play again until the 25th because of the NBA All-Star break. That leaves them with two games this month, one against the Miami Heat and one against the Philadelphia 76ers. With the way the Knicks are playing lately, it seems unlikely they’ll be leading at any point against either of those teams.
This season has gotten bleak pretty quickly for Knicks fans and there are no signs it will get better any time soon.
