On the field, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill had one of the best seasons of anyone at the position in NFL history in 2023. But, off-the-field, the speedster had a tumultuous year, and that has continued into the offseason.

A Florida newspaper is reporting that Tyreek Hill has filed for divorce from his wife of under three months, Keeta Vaccaro, but he is denying those reports.

Here’s more from the Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is seeking a divorce from his wife of two months, Keeta Vaccaro, according to court records.

Hill and Vaccaro legally married in Texas on Nov. 8 during the Dolphins’ bye week. The two got engaged in 2021, when Hill played for the Kansas City Chiefs. Vaccaro is the sister of former NFL player Kenny Vaccaro, who played for the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans.

The petition says Hill and Vaccaro did not have any children together during their marriage and that she is not pregnant.

Hill’s Fort-Lauderdale-based family law attorney filed the petition in Broward County court on Monday. Reached by phone Tuesday afternoon, his attorney said he had “no comment at this time.”

That seems pretty straightforward. Court records are as bulletproof a source of evidence as something like this can be. But, Tyreek Hill is denying the report.

This is truly strange. The odds the court got this wrong are wildly low, especially when his attorneys didn’t comment. If it was some egregious mistake, wouldn’t they have denied the report? Something seems fishy here.

Hill and Vaccaro, who is the sister of former NFL safety Kenny Vaccaro, married in November and had been engaged since 2021. But, reports surfaced last month that Hill had fathered children with three different women. And, Hill’s home caught on fire in Early January, only adding to the tumult in his personal life.

On the field, Tyreek Hill was incredible this season. He caught 118 passes for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns this year, and had a real shot at a 2000-yard season before a late-season injury.
