UFC’s Mackenzie Dern isn’t planning to return to the Octagon in the near future.
On Saturday, Dern attended UFC 331 in Los Angeles to watch Joshua Van take on Alexandre Pantoja at the Crypto.com Arena.
We briefly spoke with Dern on UFC on Paramount’s red carpet, and she said she’d like to return to the Octagon sometime in March because her life has been busy lately.
“I would like to fight like March, you know, kind of right now I’m doing a couple tours and like media and press and just I have a lot of obligations, just as being the defending champion. So I’m trying to get all that out of the way and then focus on my training. So I mean, they have a card in December.
“I’m already training right now, so I’m gonna be definitely prepared to come back sooner than the last one. I don’t want to go like 10 months without fighting, but ideally we’re in the best case scenario in March.”
While on the Paramount red carpet, we also asked McKenzie what Paramount TV show she would like to star in.
“I’m not good at acting, so it has to be some type of reality show. They can record my life and all the craziness that goes on here, probably something like that.”
“Not Survivor; they can’t take showers. I can’t do that. But maybe like The Challenge or Amazing Race or something like that.”
