Matt Brown is not well liked in Brazil where UFC 198 is being held. Yesterday during weigh-ins Brown gave the Brazilian crowd the middle finger as they booed him.
Seems like fans didn’t forget Brown’s gesture as he was welcomed by hundreds of people flipping him off as we walked into the cage. Things almost got out of hand when a few asshole fans tried to hit Brown which led him to retaliate by clocking one of them in the face.
The UFC needs to do a better job of protecting their fighters by keeping them away from drunk fans before something serious happens.
