Adolis Garcia was an ALCS star for the Rangers, racking up a franchise record 15 RBIs in the series. The slugger hit home runs in his final four games of the set, including two in a decisive game 7.

One of those HRs was shown on ump cam from a view behind home plate. The bomb is even cooler from the blue’s point of view.

“Ump cam is fire!!”

“We need more ump cam.”

“This is such a cool view.”

“Umps have finally found their real purpose.”

The third inning home run gave the Rangers an early 4-1 lead, giving Garcia two hits and a pair of RBIs in his first two plate appearances. His night would only get better.

In the eighth inning, he’d leave the park again as Texas blew the game wide open. The outfielder’s second HR of the game gave the Rangers an 11-3 lead in a matchup they’d eventually win, 11-4.

With the Game 7 victory, the Rangers closed out a back-and-forth series that saw the road team win every single contest. That left a number of sad Astros fans sitting in the stands as dreams of a second straight World Series championship slipped away.

One of those sad attendees was Mattress Mack, who dropped a few million dollars on another Houston title. He saw $3 million quickly leave his pocket as the Rangers blasted home run after home run.

This ump cam footage definitely gave viewers the best in-game angle, and hopefully it’s something we see more of in the World Series.
