A phallically dressed college football fan was escorted out of a matchup between Sam Houston State and UTEP on Wednesday night. The early Halloween costume led to an array of jokes from viewers on social media.

The SHSU supporter appeared to get “Spooky SZN” started early by attending the midweek contest in the hilarious get-up. It’s been maybe the most entertaining part of the year for a Bearkats team that entered the game at 0-7.

The combination of team’s poor play and the fan’s bold outfit ignited a fire in the comments section.

“That guy had a lot of balls wearing that costume.”

“That’s nuts.”

“The team goes up 21-10 once and the fans get all cocky…”

“Well, it has been a hard season.”

“If it was colder out this wouldn’t be as big of a problem.”

Opposing UTEP fans weren’t impressed by the Sam Houston State supporter’s costume.

It’s been an interesting night in Huntsville for a variety of reasons. The weirdness got started before kickoff with the road team packing the wrong uniforms.

The UTEP Miners brought their home blue uniforms, forcing Sam Houston State to sport an alternate orange top. It provided viewers with an accidental color rush game they didn’t know they needed.

The play on the field as been just as entertaining.

After jumping out to an early two-score lead, Sam Houston State looked primed to land its first win of the season. Unfortunately, three consecutive second half scores from UTEP have put that victory in doubt.

This festive fan won’t be there to see that final result, no matter which team wins, due to the early exit.
