Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama has been a rookie sensation, but fans are just finding out an interesting tidbit about the center – he has a brother who’s also a pro prospect!

Oscar Wembanyama is only 16 years old, but he’s already showing up on NBA mock draft boards as he continues his amateur career in Europe.

Let the tanking begin!

Eligible for the 2026 NBA Draft, many already consider Oscar to be a potential future pick, though he might not go No. 1 overall like his older sibling.

Standing 6-7, he boasts prototypical NBA size, projecting to play at the forward position. He also possesses athleticism to go along with that length!

Suiting up for the LDLC ASVEL U-21 team in France, he’s already won a national title with his U-15 team.

NBA fans were shocked to find out there could be a second Wembanyama on the way! Check out the immediate reaction on social media.

“The league is cooked for the next 26 years.”

“This honestly just ruined my night. Already know he’s going to be a San Antonio Spur.”

“He has a brother??”

“The hoops DNA in the Wemby family is strong.”

We’ll have to wait a few years to get the chance to see Oscar Wembanyama at the next level as he’s still a few days shy of turning 17, but his brother, Victor, is already putting on a show in San Antonio.

In his Year 1, the 7-4 center is averaging a double-double at 20.7ppg/10.3rpg. He’s more than lived up to the incredible hype that surrounded him upon being drafted with the first pick and is the hands-down favorite to land Rookie of the Year honors.

Can Oscar Wembanyama see a similar rise ahead of the ’26 NBA Draft? Time will tell. He’s, without a doubt, already garnering interest from both fans and franchises.
