Vince McMahon’s 19-Year-Old Grandson Calls Himself ‘The Rightful Heir’ To WWE Throne

Is the wrestling world ready for a fourth generation of McMahons? It better be, according to Declan McMahon, Vince McMahon’s 19-year-old grandson.

Declan, a redshirt freshman running back at Indiana University, made it pretty clear that he or another one of his relatives will be joining WWE sooner rather than later.

“Out of you and your brothers and your cousins, who do you think is more likely to get into the family business?” Declan was asked during an appearance on the Developmentally Speaking show.

“Oh, probably me. I mean, the story, the story’s already written, right?” Declan replied. “The rightful heir. The good-looking. The one who looks like Vince, right?”

Plus, he’s already “performed” on wrestling’s biggest stage when he and his brothers joined their dad Shane McMahon during his introduction at WWE’s WrestleMania 32.

“I think, just in the sense that you could play off WrestleMania 20, like I posted on Twitter,” Declan continued.

Declan appeared briefly on camera during the opening of WrestleMania 20 with Vince and his dad Shane.

“You could play that off and just show that like, the new generation of McMahon has arrived,” he added. “I think in that sense, I would. We have such a great family, and we’re all so supportive of each other so I think I think really any of us could potentially want to do it.”

Declan McMahon also admitted that he may not be the first of the current kids in the family to make the jump to WWE.

“I know Aurora, Triple H’s oldest daughter, she’s always talked about wanting to do it, but in having my dad and my grandpa’s ego, I think I’d be the best,” he said.

Aurora Levesque is a pretty good athlete in her own right, so he may have some competition.

Plus, in 2021, Stephanie McMahon told Alex McCarthy of TalkSport, “We have three daughters, Triple H and I do, they are 15, 13 and 11. Our oldest said when she was eight years old ‘Momma, I don’t want your job. Daddy, I don’t want your job. I want Pop’s [Vince McMahon] job.

“So, just like her grandfather, she wants to be the boss so we’ll see what happens with my oldest daughter who has already started training in the ring.

“My youngest daughter is also very interested but she is all about the personality [laughs]. Oh my goodness, I can’t wait to see what she is going to do.”
