A group of lucky Tennessee fans will attend the team’s biggest home game of the year for an incredibly low price. The Vols face off against UGA in a game that could potentially decide the SEC East.

The fans noticed a major resale blunder while searching for the tickets online. They’ll now spend a night in Neyland Stadium for 1/50 the cost of the typical entry.

Tennessee is fresh off an 11-win season in 2022, representing the program’s best year in two decades. While the team lost two-year starter Hendon Hooker under center, Vols fans are hopeful that Joe Milton can continue the recent success.

Many around the SEC are expecting big things from the signal caller in Josh Heupel’s high-powered offense, and should he keep things rolling, UT will be a force in the conference race.

The Vols’ stiffest competition will be the two-time defending champion Georgia Bulldogs. That showdown, which will be played in mid-November, could very well decide who plays in the SEC Championship.

The anticipation of a potentially monumental matchup is already resulting in high prices at the box office. At least for most.

A group of Tennessee fans is now going viral online after catching a major resale blunder.

Vols fans nab UGA game tickets for just $5.

Grayson Weir of Outkick did some digging on social media and found four UT fans that will be headed to Knoxville for the big game. And at an unreasonably low price.

It appears that a few ticket purchasers were looking to capitalize on the skyrocketing prices by listing their tickets for resale. Instead, they’ll be out hundreds of dollars.

A Twitter user found the blunder and immediately posted a photo of the accidental list prices.

“Which one of you dumba—-s meant to sell your tickets for $500 each and sold them for $5?” she asked while showing an image of the online checkout.

It didn’t take long for them to get swiped.

Instead of paying $1,000 for the pair, two lucky fans scooped the tickets up for just $10.

As Weir notes in his article, the cheapest tickets found on resale websites start at just over $270 a pop.

Those weren’t the only fans to capitalize, though.

That same Twitter account posted another similar incident, which showed prices of $6 rather than $600.

The ultimate display of pain for the fans selling the UGA tickets. On the other hand, four lucky Vols supporters will get to see one of the biggest games of the SEC season for pennies.
