Soon-to-be free agent Von Miller is entering his 12th year in the NFL and is creating quite the buzz on social media. The 32-year-old linebacker just won his second Super Bowl and has a few different options on the table.

There is a real possibility that Miller could choose to re-sign with the Rams after being traded to Los Angeles during the 2021 regular season. He could also choose to return to the Broncos after spending the first 10.5 years of his career in Denver.

Miller first teased the possibility of re-joining the reigning Super Bowl champions on Sunday. He posted a checklist on his Instagram story that ended with “RUN IT BACK.”

And then on Monday, after reports emerged that the Broncos are expected to look into bringing Miller back, he shared two teasers on Instagram. The first questioned whether he should wear 50 or 48 in blue and orange. The second asked whether “they” will give him his old locker back.

He also followed it up on Twitter.

Miller said that he kinda wants that old thing back and listed 5280, which is the altitude in Denver. Is he hinting at a return?

Miller spent the first nine and a half years of his career in Denver, leading the team to a win in Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 season. He was openly emotional about the exit when he was traded to Los Angeles mid-season.

Now, one day after Miller’s teasers, Russell Wilson is headed to play in the Mile High City. The move is expected to make the Broncos very dangerous in 2022 and legitimate playoff contenders.

If Miller wanted the old thing back before, he certainly wants it back now— with a new, Pro Bowl quarterback in town.
