Earlier today, I brought you the news of UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn engaging in his second bar fight in as many months in his homeland of Hawaii.
I titled the article: ‘B.J. Penn Ends His Record-Setting Losing Streak By Beating This Piss Out Of Some Poor Soul At A Bar.’ The title makes reference to B.J.’s record seventh consecutive loss to end his UFC career, while also acknowledging that he beat the bag out of some random portly dude.
The video that was obtained by TMZ and released earlier today shows Penn whaling on a dude inside the Lava Shack in Hawaii on Tuesday.
WELP. That was far from the whole story.
It’s recently been revealed that the fight spilled out onto the street and new video footage has emerged of the multi-division champion and the first American Gold medalist of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship getting knocked out cold by the same dude Penn was walloping in the bar.
TMZ has obtained footage of the chubby dude who looks like he brushes his teeth with Mountain Dew getting the last laugh.
It’s hard to conceive that this same dude who got KO’d by a Burger King assistant manager is slated to fight professional fighter Nik Lentz in the near future. Dana White has previously said this fight will be Penn’s last, but after seeing this footage, it’s negligent to let him back in the octagon.
