An unintentional post on the Cincinnati Twitter timeline is leading to jokes about Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell stealing the Bearcats’ social media team. The since-deleted tweet bizarrely highlighted Badgers quarterback Tanner Mordecai.

This comes following Fickell’s move from Cincy to Wisco where he now preps for Year 1 in Madison.

Prior to taking over at Wisconsin, the head coach led the Bearcats, taking the program as far as the College Football Playoff in 2021. In six seasons with the team, Fickell posted a 57-18 overall record. That included three 11+ win campaigns and a pair of bowl victories.

As he moves into the Big Ten, he’s taken many from the Cincinnati coaching staff with him. Defensive coordinator Mike Tressel and Associate Head Coach Mike Brown highlight that group.

Now, fans are joking that he brought even more of the Bearcats’ athletic department to his new school.

This week, the Cincinnati Twitter account posted highlights of Wisconsin signal caller Tanner Mordecai. It appears someone who was previously with the team forgot to log out after making the move to Madison.

Looks like no one changed the passwords following an apparent staff overhaul.

The immediate reaction was fantastic.

Fans online joked that Fickell swiped every staffer from the Cincinnati football program, including the social media team.

Whoops!
