WNBA players are not going to let Caitlin Clark take over the league.
Earlier this year, Clark announced that she was declaring for the WNBA draft and is a lock to go #1 overall.
On Friday night, WNBA legends Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird called the alternate broadcast of the Final Four 4 game between Iowa and UConn.
After the game, Taurasi was asked about what she thought about Clark coming to the WNBA next season and Taurasi fired a warning shot at the college basketball superstar.
“Reality is coming, there’s levels to this thing… you look superhuman playing against some 18 years olds but you’re going to come play with some grown women that have been playing professional basketball for a long time. not saying that it’s not going to translate, when you’re great at you do you’re just going to get better, but there is going to be a transition period when you have to give some grace as a rookie, it make take a little bit longer for some people”
