Taylor Trammell is a World Series champion! The journeyman outfielder is guaranteed a ring regardless of whether the Los Angeles Dodgers or New York Yankees win the Fall Classic.
It does not matter that he played in only 10 games on the Major League Baseball level during the 2024 season!
Trammell was drafted by the Reds with the No. 35 overall pick in 2016. Cincinnati shipped him off to San Diego as part of a three-team trade that included Trevor Bauer, Yasiel Puig, Franmil Reyes and Logan Allen in 2019. He was traded to the Mariners in 2020.
Taylor Trammel made his MLB debut in 2021 and played 106 games over the next three years. Seattle designated him for assignment in March after he failed to make the Opening Day roster.
Here is where the journey to World Series champion begins.
The Dodgers claimed Trammell off waivers on April 2. The 27-year-old had six at-bats in five games with Los Angeles and was again designated for assignment on April 16.

Whenever a team wins the World Series, every single player who was on the active roster at any point during the season typically gets a ring. Especially if he recorded an at-bat. The only time that does not happen is if the owner is cheap or if there are some underlying circumstances.
Dodgers owner Mark Walter spent a lot of money to assemble this year’s roster. An extra ring for Trammell will not be a problem if his team can get the job done.
Two days after Los Angeles cut him loose, Trammell was claimed off waivers by the Yankees. Although he was mostly used as a defensive replacement, he did single in his only at-bat. New York later designated Trammell for assignment on May 4 and ultimately sent him to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRaiders for the rest of the season.

Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner is also a very wealthy man. To purchase a World Series ring for Trammell would not be an issue if his team proves victorious.
Taylor Trammell is (probably) getting a World Series ring regardless of which team wins!
