WWE Wrestler Drew Gulak has issued a statement after beng accused of inappropriate behavior by Ronda Rousey.

On Tuesday night, Rousey appeared on News Nation and accused Gulak of pulling on her sweatpants drawstring backstage in front of other people during a WWE event which she thought was “abnormal.”

“I was standing there, and a guy that I’m barely an acquaintance with grabbed the string of my sweatpants as I was walking by, and I wasn’t even looking at him. This guy grabs the string of my sweatpants, and nobody else reacts as if this is abnormal. He grabs and starts going down the hall and I’m like wtf was that? Why are you grabbing the string of my sweatpants, if my husband was here standing next to me would you feel comfortable walking up to me and grabbing the string of my sweatpants?

“Nobody around me acted like as if was abnormal…if this guy is coming up to me and doing this stuff to me when other people are around, what’s happening to these other girls when it’s not in the hallway? That really put me on edge that this behavior is prevalent, that it’s so prevalent that this isn’t a problem ”

On Wednesday, Gulak took to social media to respond to Rousey’s accusations against him.

“Backstage at a WWE event in 2022, I saw Ronda talking with a group in the hallway. I stopped to say hi and shake all their hands, and in an attempt to shake her hand, I accidentally touched her drawstring. Complete accident, and one that I had apologized to her for the mishap.”

The WWE has yet to address Rousey’s accusations against Gulak.
