The XFL accidentally gave its viewers more than they bargained for during postgame locker room footage. Cameras caught a half-naked player while following quarterback AJ McCarron behind the scenes after a win.

The St. Louis BattleHawks played the Arlington Renegades on Saturday in the fourth week of the season. The BattleHawks would wind up winning the contest by a score of 24-11.

In that matchup, McCarron threw for 214 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 20-of-27 passing. He was complemented by running back Brian Hill, who added 89 yards on the ground and another score.

After the win, XFL crews followed McCarron and his teammates inside the locker room to show the postgame celebration.

Now, we’ve seen the XFL come up with creative ways to give viewers a more access to teams and players. This might’ve been a bit too much, though.

Cameras accidentally caught a player in an awkward situation.

Fans quickly responded to the now viral footage.

Luckily, there was a towel hanging in just the right spot so those viewers didn’t get the full show.

While this is a comical mishap on the part of the league, the XFL has been able to excite fans with the action on the field. Many are already calling for the NFL to adopt rules in future seasons, most notably the onside kick and 3-point conversion options.

So far, it’s been a successful comeback season for the league. We’ll just hope they censor some of the locker room footage moving forward.
