People the world over are absolutely hooked on sandbox survival game Fortnite. Proof of that can be seen in the massive amount of money the makers of Fortnite are raking in, as well as those who have been able to monetize playing the game on social media.

Another place you can look for proof of the effect Fortnite has had on people is in the NBA. In a recent article on Bleacher Report several NBA players admitted that Fortnite is taking over their lives off the court.

Players who are addicted to the game include Andre Drummond, Reggie Jackson, Stanley Johnson, Eric Moreland, Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, Paul George, Steven Adams and several more. One of those players is Indiana Pacers swingman Lance Stephenson, who wore a pair of very cool Fortnite custom sneakers designed by Kickstradomis during Tuesday night’s Pacers-Nuggets game.

“Forntite PEs 🔥 My bro Lance said he needed to let every one know he serious on that @fortnite 💪🏼,” wrote Kickstradomis.

Stephenson isn’t the first NBA player to pay tribute to their favorite game of the moment though. Back in February, Lakers shooting guard Josh Hart rocked this pair of custom Fortnite kicks…

Hart is most definitely obsessed with Fortnite, telling Bleacher Report about how he and former Laker Larry Nance Jr. played the game when the Cavaliers were in town, “Saturday, he was over for probably 12 hours. Me, him and two other friends had four TVs in my living room, four different Xboxes, all playing as one squad.”

Ah, the life of an NBA player.
