These Sick Air Jordan 3 ‘International Flight’ Red, White, And Blue High-Tops Drop This Weekend

It’s rare that I see a pair of Jordans and think ‘damn, I need those’ but I was immediately into the ‘International Flight’ Jordan IIIs the moment I saw them. These shoes drop this Saturday on Nike.com, and they pay homage to Jordan’s global influence.

The International Flight Jordan IIIs draw inspiration from a pair of sneakers that Michael Jordan wore during a charity exhibition game in Los Angeles back in 1988. In that game, Jordan had the unfettered ability to play offense all night long with both teams in the charity game running the score up into the 200s. The colors of the International Flight sneakers are the same as the sneakers Jordan wore during that game. MJ led all scorers in that game with 54 points and he put on a slam dunk exhibition during halftime.

The shoe is made with a premium full-grain leather and it has the signature MJ tongue. The name, International Flight, is a nod to Michael Jordan taking the globe by storm. These shoes will arrive in a box designed to look like a passport and the shoes will be wrapped in tissue paper printed with charts of Jordan’s travels across the globe.

You can sign up to receive notifications from Nike of when this shoe goes on sale, or you can plan on logging into Nike.com at 10:00am EDT on 6/30. They’ll retail for $190.
