Back in the spring of 2010 — the early days here at BroBible — we were blown away by an annual UCSB spring party called “Floatopia”. Thanks to some old fashion word-of-mouth hype, it grew into being one of the largest college parties on the West Coast until the City Of Santa Barbara shut it down citing public safety issues.
Floatopia lives on in spirit with Deltopia, an annual college day rager held in the off-campus student campus section of Isla Vista. A few years ago it turned into a shitshow. This year it mellowed into something way more laid back and chill.

I actually visited Isla Vista for the first time this past October. The place took my breath away — All I could think the entire time I was there is “holy shit, these college kids literally live in paradise.” It’s probably one of the few places in America where student housing is literally right on the beach in actual beach houses.
Seriously, how ridiculous of a place is this to throw a college party? I’m not sure there’s a more heavenly spot to rage on planet earth.
