Legendary ‘Godfather’ Actor Abe Vigoda Has Passed Away At 94

NOOOOOO!!!! Legendary actor Abe Vigoda has passed away at 94. He died of natural causes at his home in New Jersey, according to the AP:

Vigoda’s daughter, Carol Vigoda Fuchs, told The Associated Press that Vigoda died Tuesday morning in his sleep at Fuchs’ home in Woodland Park, New Jersey. The cause of death was old age. “This man was never sick,” Fuchs said.

Best known for the role of Sal Tessio in The Godfather, this scene will forever hit me right in the feels.

“Tell Mike it was only business.”

Abe also famously played a NYPD detective on Barney Miller in the ’70s and ’80s. But what I’ll always remember him for is his Halloween gags with Phish in 2013 in Atlantic City. He took the stage “in costume” for the premiere of a funky jam now known as Wombat, which reference’s Abe’s starring role in the ’70s tv show Fish. Fast forward to him dancing at the end.

Pretty good for a Bro in his ’90s!

Phish also parodied Abe’s great Godfather scene:

RIP to a legend.
