New Trailer For ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ FINALLY Shows You Kurt Russell As Ego

Marvel released the final trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on Tuesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Your favorite band of misfit heroes are causing a ruckus during their epic space adventures once again to a 1970s soundtrack. In volume 2, the gang of a-holes travel the cosmos in an attempt to help Peter Quill find his parents, but hilarity and intergalactic battles ensue.

Back again are Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and Baby Groot (Vin Diesel). Newcomers include Yondu (Michael Rooker), Nebula (Karen Gillan), and Mantis (Pom Klementieff).

Plus we finally get to see Kurt Russell, who plays the human form of Ego, Quill’s dad.


“Sometimes, the thing you’re searching for your whole life in right there by your side all along,” Star-Lord says in the trailer.

James Gunn returns to direct GotGV2.
