The teaser trailers for the eighth season of “Archer” are here and they’re quite promising. Everybody’s favorite ISIS agent is back and this time he will be entering the danger zone of 1947. The upcoming season titled “Dreamland” will see Sterling Archer as a detective in 1947 thanks to a dream sequence from season 7. It will have a 1920s Film Noir feel to it.
Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy that revolves around the hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles. The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between Los Angeles’ most powerful crime bosses. Every clue leads Archer further away from his goal and deeper into a mystery involving kidnapping, prostitution and drug addiction.
Another difference in season 8 will be that the hit animated show will move from FX to FXX.
Archer’s eighth season will debut this spring, but no exact date was given. No word if there will be ocelots or surprise felatio.
