New Feature On Tinder Lets You Be An Online Wingman For Your Bros

Maybe you met a really chill girl on Tinder, but you’re not into redheads because they of course have no souls, but your friend doesn’t mind the company of a soulless demon. You want to hook your friend up with her, but not seem like you’re ditching her. Or maybe you met a woman who is a complete psychopath who won’t stop pestering you, so you want to dump her off on your bro so he has to deal with your former headcase. Whatever your motivation, Tinder now allows you to share profiles with your friends.

Tinder has rolled out a new feature so you can be an online wingman and send profiles to friends that you found.

On Friday, Tinder said the following on their blog:

We are testing the ability to play matchmaker on Tinder. While swiping through potential matches, a small group of users may see the option to share a profile they come across. Tapping the ‘share’ icon will allow you to send a temporary link via text to a friend, and give them the ability to swipe on the profile you shared. The link will expire after five clicks or 72 hours – whichever comes first. Users can choose to opt out of having a sharable profile by visiting Discovery Settings.

If you swipe on a profile that has been shared with you, your profile may appear in their recommendations – as long as you meet your potential match’s preferences. As always, if you both swipe right, it’s a match!

The feature will be tested in various markets and may differ in appearance and functionality depending on location.
Swipe on!

Now you can hook up your friends so that they can hook up. Plus you’ll be able to easily share those batshit crazy profiles or super ridiculously hot profiles that are probably just bots using Instagram model pics instead of screencapping them all of the time.
