Nike Releases Kobe 11s, Then Hides A Bunch Of Autographed Pairs Around The World For Fans To Find

You’ve really got to hand it to Nike, don’t you? In addition to being the world leader in swag when it comes to sports shoes and clothing, they always seem to find a way of doing something just a little bit cooler than their competitors—and they just dropped a unique bombshell on sports fans.

After releasing Kobe Bryant’s new Kobe 11s (above)—which are pretty sick in their own right—the brand announced that 20 signed pairs of the kicks are hidden in 20 different cities for people to find in a worldwide scavenger hunt, so channel your inner Christopher Columbus to scoop a pair.

In order to find the pairs, Bryant and Nike will ask fans questions on social media, with answers serving as clues to where the shoes are hidden.

Here’s what else The Black Mamba had to say about, per Sole Collector:

“There will be questions that pose as clues. Some of the questions will be kind of standard stuff – growing up questions and stuff like that. Others will be centered around innovation. It’s important for them to really understand the product.”

With the giveaway beginning on December 22—just over two weeks before the shoes are available to buy on January 9—this is a dope way for fans and sneakerheads to be the first ones to land the Kobe 11s, as well as brag about your exploring skills.
