Clearly determined to make a change, Jackass star and former professional skateboarded Bam Margera is currently sober and back on a skateboard. Videos of Bam getting in shape and back to skating have proven that talent never fades.

Now 46 years old, Bam Margera reportedly got sober around September 2024 and credits getting back into skateboarding as being his “medication.”

“I realized I don’t need to be on any medication — skateboarding is my medication. As long as I do a trick a day, it keeps my sanity sane,” Margera previously said.

That hard word both in the gym and on the board is clearly paying off, as Bam has been sharing a bunch of videos on social media of him getting back into skating shape. While no one is athletic as they were 20 years ago, the videos show that he was and will always be an immensely talented skater.

Seeing Bam get his life together — especially follow his very public and contentious dismissal from Jackass: Forever because of his struggles with substance abuse — is hitting folks of a certain age right in the feels.

While Bam will be appearing in this summer’s Jackass: Best and Last — the official title was announced earlier this week at CinemaCon — it will be through never-before-seen archival footage rather than filming new stunts having signed an agreement allowing the use of this old material, marking a truce with the producers after being fired from Jackass Forever in 2021.

“This is the last Jackass film the world will ever see. Jackass means a hell of a lot for me. We knew we were making the last one, so we went extra hard to make sure this was also our best Jackass film ever,” frontman Johnny Knoxville said while announcing the film’s title.
