The 46-year-old either has a lot more money than I realized and/or used (some of) her ex-husband’s money to acquire a second property.
This latest update on the high-profile divorce adds even more drama to the mix. Both parties are moving in very different directions!
Jelly Roll did not keep the house in the divorce.
Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, announced their divorce in May. It was finalized in June. She got to keep the “dream house” they were building in Nashville, Tennessee. He moved out.
The exact details of their divorce settlement are not public but we know that they agreed to split all of their assets, including real estate, bank accounts, life insurance and an aircraft. And, according to multiple reports, the country music singer was required to pay out a one-time lump sum payment to his ex-wife. The amount was not disclosed.
Although Bunnie Xo got money from Jelly Roll in the divorce, she is quite successful on her own — with more than 2.5 million followers on Instagram and more than 8.5 million followers on TikTok. She recently revealed that she made six figures from one single episode of her podcast.
Her independent wealth allowed her to purchase a $500,000 Rolls Royce at the end of July. Bunnie made it clear that she used her own money to buy the car. It was not the divorce money. It was not a spur-of-the-moment decision.
“The car has been in the works for a year. So I literally have been planning on buying a Rolls-Royce Cullinan since last year, it was gonna be my IVF present to myself because of all the s—- I had to go through, and it just so happens that it landed at this time in my life. It has nothing to do with anything having to do with that part of my life. It literally was a present to myself for getting through the IVF and just kind of like a celebratory gift that I wanted to do.“
That may or may not be the case with her newest acquisition. The property records are not public.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are on very different paths after their divorce. The former recently announced to step away from performing.
Meanwhile, the latter is going all-in on her career. According to Rachel DeSantis, she is ready to go “full blown Hollywood.”
“She’s in Los Angeles meeting with producers for her potential reality show,” the source says. “She’s taking a ton of meetings. She’s meetings with agents and TV agents and production companies. So she’s going full-blown Hollywood.”
This report comes just a few days after she revealed on her podcast that she purchased a new house in Los Angeles. Bunnie Xo got to keep the house in Tennessee and acquired a second property in California.
“We bought an LA house, baby. We got an L.A. compound, I am so excited. You guys know I’ve been wanting a West Coast house forever. I had one in Vegas and Vegas, I don’t know, just isn’t me anymore. So I’ve been trying to slowly make my way to Cali, and here we are, baby.”
She plans to spend a lot more time on the west coast. That obviously corresponds with her push to go “full blown Hollywood.”
I wonder if Jelly Roll would’ve relinquished the house in Nashville if he knew Bunnie Xo was going to turn right around buy a house in Los Angeles. Their recent activity on Instagram makes it seem like the divorce was messier than they would like you to believe.
