The Call Of Duty franchise has a monster hit on its hand with the runaway success of Call Of Duty: Warzone.

Just a few weeks ago, the battle royale crossed the 30 million worldwide players mark.

Now the free add-on to Modern Warfare has surpassed 50 million players. Activision also announced that more than 2.4 billion hours have been played to date in the Modern Warfare universe.

For those keeping track at home, that’s…

-Four days to reach 15 million players.

-10 days to reach 30 million players.

-One month to reach 50 million players.

That’s a landmark moment as the game rolls out it’s Season 3 packaging, which includes enhanced loadouts and four-man squads.

It also comes as the Call Of Duty League returns, with an at-home tournament streaming on YouTube Gaming.

It couldn’t come at a better time, as people are staying inside and looking for things to do during the COVID-19 crisis.

Warzone is the perfect activity to hang out with friends online. And there’s lot of philanthropic work for good in the CoD world – For example: NBA star Devin Booker has even been raising money for Covid-19 relief through his Twitch channel.

If you want to really up your skills, check out the Call Of Duty League tournament going on this weekend on YouTube Gaming.
