Chirayu Rana, the former JP Morgan banker who went viral for his accusations of abuse against Lorna Hajdini, has filed a second lawsuit. The claims in this latest suit are just as insane as the first batch.
Last week, unearthed court documents revealed that Chirayu Rana accused former JP Morgan co-worker Lorna Hajdini of drugging him, forcing him into non-consensual sex acts, and directing racial slurs at him and his wife.
JP Morgan, however, conducted an internal investigation and found no wrongdoing on Hajdini’s part, leading to the court document being redacted and withdrawn for “corrections.”
“Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims,” a spokesperson for JP Morgan said. “While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations.”
Former JP Morgan banker Chirayu Rana has filed a second lawsuit with allegations of sexual assault against Lorna Hajdini
Rana isn’t giving up his legal efforts, though, as he has filed a second lawsuit accusing Hajdini of trying to coerce him and a witness into a three-some, according to the New York Post.
“In Rana’s new filing, one alleged witness — who appears to be a family friend of Rana’s — says he was staying at an apartment while visiting New York City and was woken up by Hajdini’s drunken antics in the middle of the night. He attempted to go back to sleep, but a ‘completely naked’ Hajdini woke him up.”
“Hajdini sat on the couch he was sleeping on, lit a cigarette and began begging him to ‘join them’ in the bedroom, the document claims. Despite refusing several times, the mystery witness claims Hajdini told him ‘you know I own [redacted], so you better come join.'”
“After she returned to the bedroom, he claims, he could hear Rana pleading, ‘No, no, no, you have to leave. I’m not going to do this. Please stop.’ Rana allegedly recalled that Hajdini threatened him with ‘trouble’ if he didn’t comply, and ‘reiterated his concern that Ms. Hajdini was blackmailing him.'”
In the lawsuit, the unnamed witness also claims that in September 2024, she heard Hajdini say something to Rana along the lines of And in September 2024, she overheard them entering her apartment building, recalling that Hajdini said something that sounded like, “I own you, Brownie.”
Rana no longer works at JP Morgan and is now a principal at the investment firm Bregal Sagemount. Hajdini has remained employed by JP Morgan and released the following statement via her attorney.
“Lorna categorically denies the allegations. She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.”
At the time of this writing, neither Hajdini nor JPMorgan has commented on the refiled lawsuit.
