When it comes to the most must-follow celebrities on social media there is Ryan Reynolds, Anna Kendrick, The Rock, Kate Beckinsale, Tom Brady, Chrissy Teigen, and then pretty much everybody else.

Which is why anyone and everyone who follows Chrissy Teigen on Twitter knew that when they saw her husband John Legend was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2019 there would probably be some comical trolling heading his way.

Much like Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, Teigen and Legend are #RelationshipGoals with their ability and willingness to poke fun at one another publicly while still maintaining a healthy marriage. Although in Teigen and Legend’s case, it’s mostly her doing the trolling and him being a very, very good sport about it.

Teigen is especially at her best when Legend is involved in some kind of sports-related adventure like fantasy football or going to the World Series, but John being named People’s Sexiest Man Alive was like setting him up on a tee, and, as expected, she took her best swings.

“my secret is out. I have fulfilled my dream of having boned @people’s sexiest man alive!! an honor!!!!!,” Teigen initially tweeted.

She was just getting started. Teigen then tacked on some new letters to his EGOT status.

Their kids, however, were very unimpressed by John’s latest honor.

Teigen also can’t wait for the hate she knows is coming her way because, well, people are terrible.

John actually trolled himself with a comparison to 2018 Sexiest Man Alive Idris Elba.

Which of course left the door wide open for Teigen.

Her best take might have been her reaction to a GIF of her husband People published online.

Then she updated her Twitter bio, adding “currently sleeping with people’s sexiest man alive” and from there her day only got better.
