Elon Musk’s Own Dad Sees A Potential Fight Against Mark Zuckerberg Ending Badly

Perhaps these comments from Elon Musk’s father explain why the Tesla and Twitter CEO is the way he is, as the 77-year-old South African recently sided with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a hypothetical fight between the two (at least in terms of the optics of it all).

Because our simulation has stopped even pretending to care about how realistic how world seems, the story of a potential fight between two of the biggest nerds on earth has generated tons of headlines in recent weeks.

This latest comment from Musk’s father, however, may be the most brutal of the bunch, as he pointed out that his son’s “high school behavior” has put him in a “no-win situation.”

“The thing is if this crazy fight goes ahead, if Elon beats this guy, Elon will be called a bully, being so much heavier and taller, while if he loses the humiliation would be total. It’s a no-win situation for Elon,” Errol Musk reportedly said, via The Sun.

While the elder Musk might have a point about the situation being an unwinnable one, he’s also overestimating how much people would take offense to seeing Mark Zuckerberg getting beaten up by a bigger dude. The fact is that most people would likely head into the potential bout — which will *never* happen, by the way — rooting for them both to lose.

Elon, however, is still pretending like he’s serious about fighting Zuckerberg, as he recently accepted an offer from former UFC star Georges St-Pierre, who volunteered himself to help Musk train for the fight. The reason that Musk needs to train for a fight against Zuckerberg — who is both shorter and skinnier — is that the 39-year-old creator of Facebook has spent recent years seriously practicing martial arts and has even won some jiu-jitsu tournaments along the way.
