Most people who’ve endured the final month of their senior year of high school are very aware of just how tedious that final stretch can be.

By that point, most students have either been accepted to college or solidified their plans for after graduation, which means classes, homework, and final exams are really just a formality for the students who are already on track to receive their diploma.

A lot of people who find themselves in that particular position partake in a few different pastimes to entertain themselves, including the ever-popular “Senior Skip Day” as well as the senior pranks that should be cheeky and fun but can verge on the edge of cruel and tragic if executed poorly.

Last month, some high schoolers in Chicago who were presumably hoping to go with the tried-and-true “Walk A Cow Up A Flight Of Stairs” stunt saw things go a bit south after the animal escaped and roamed the nearby neighborhood where it was eventually wrangled.

However, the fallout of that particular prank has nothing on another one that backfired in a big way in Texas.

According to KPRC, Caney Creek High School was forced to cancel classes last Friday thanks to a mysterious and “unbearable” odor that was nauseating to the point where six people had to be taken to the hospital for treatment after it was initially detected on Wednesday.

The Caney Creek Fire & Rescue Department was eventually able to get to the bottom of the matter and shared the findings of its investigation in a Facebook post where it said the odor stemmed from a bottle of Hensgaukt Fart Spray traced back to an unidentified student who presumably dropped the $10 it costs to buy some on Amazon.

The outlet reports none of the people who were hospitalized were experiencing any serious lingering effects, but it’s safe to assume at least one person in the senior class isn’t going to be allowed to walk at graduation.
