Pancakes. Glorious pancakes. Mapley-sweet, buttery, warm, carbohydratey goodness. The only thing that could make pancakes even more delicious is free pancakes. IHOP knows people love pancakes and the word “free” so they are celebrating National Pancake Day with FREE PANCAKES!!! Today, February 27th, the International House of Pancakes is offering customers free pancakes.

On Tuesday, the national breakfast chain will give away a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 am to 7 pm, and select locations will give free pancakes until 10 pm. This deal is only available for one short stack, which usually cost $5.79. The special is only for dine-in customers and are provided while supplies last. This is the 13th year that IHOP has celebrated National Pancake Day with free pancakes. IHOP opened back in 1958 and are also celebrating their 60th anniversary this year.

Customers don’t have to pay for the pancakes, but IHOP is asking people to “make every stack count.” IHOP will be encouraging customers to make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children. “At IHOP, we think doing good is delicious,” IHOP president Darren Rebelez said in a statement. “Every stack of pancakes we serve on our signature day counts toward helping our charity partners improve the health and lives of millions of children and families across the country.”
