Restore Your Faith In Humanity With This Video Of Two Kids Helping Their Handicapped Friend Have Fun

Not to be overly blunt, but this is what the fuck I’m talking about y’all! This is why the internet needs to exist. This version of the internet has the potential to spur humanity on to bigger and better things. Not the shitty, super dark and depressing version of the internet we’re faced with on a daily basis, but this version of the internet is the one that we should strive to contribute to every day.

In today’s day and age, it can be easy to get lost in the general shittiness of humanity, which is largely due to social media. And it’s a damn shame, because while I like to believe there’s more decency in the world than wickedness, the good is largely drowned out by the overwhelming nature of the bad. After all, as the famous news industry saying goes, “if it bleeds, it leads.”

So, whenever I come across a video like this one — one that really tugs at the heartstrings and brings about a tear to the eye — I make sure to post it, because truth be told, we all need more of this type of #content in our lives.

Meet six-year-old Jeffrey Mackey, a young New York State boy who is unfortunately stricken with cerebral palsy. While he and his friends were playing at Thunder Island water park in Fulton, New York on Thursday, August 1, he was having difficulty walking, leading his two friends to immediately swoop in and give Jeffrey a helping hand.

“One of the obstacles Jeffrey faces with cerebral palsy is that his muscles get tight making it hard for him to walk. Today at the water park he was having a hard time walking but, his friends pushed him to keep going and never left him behind,” Jeffrey’s older sister, Mikaila, wrote on Twitter.

If that doesn’t fill your heart up with joy, head over to your nearest medical professional, as you may actually be clinically dead.
