The Larry David Documentary was set to air tonight, March 1st, on HBO. Eager fans awaited the debut of the two-part series, which details the actor/comedian’s rise to stardom, as well as the struggles overcome throughout his career.

David is best known for his involvement in hit shows Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, seeing a meteoric rise to fame throughout the 1990s. More recently, he made headlines for an unlikely appearance in a Super Bowl ad promoting cryptocurrency trader FTX.

The documentary is hosted by David’s friend, Larry Charles, who sits down with the sitcom star to discuss a variety of different topics.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a bit longer to see the premiere on HBO.

HBO Documentaries announced earlier today that the scheduled airing would be postponed just hours before it was set to debut.

Viewers weren’t necessarily shocked at the announcement, though they were a bit disappointed.

The Reasoning Behind The Last Minute Postponement

Reports are surfacing that David, himself, was the one behind pulling the premiere. Instead, it seems that he’d rather do the show in front of a live audience.

There’s still some information that needs to be released regarding reschedule dates and how to watch the documentary in the future. Until then, we’re left with just the show’s trailer, which is only a tease to what’s bound to be a fantastic watch.
