Dating App Releases Report Of Airports With Most 'Holiday Hookups' So Plan Your Layovers Accordingly

Are you spending most of the upcoming holidays waiting in an airport alone? Well, so are millions of other people. Nothing can be done about the wait times, but there’s plenty to be done about the “alone” part.

The dating app Match wants to connect people waiting for connecting flights, so they put together a list of the airports with the “most holiday hookups.”

“With over 107.4 million people traveling this holiday season, airport travel likely means long security lines, wait times and flight delays — all especially frustrating if you’re a single traveler. So ahead of the holiday, Match combed its database to rank the top airports for traveling singles to find their holiday dates.”

The dating app compiled data mined from its new Missed Connection feature. The app uses location data to match you with potential mates also hanging out at the same airport.

Topping the list are O’Hare airport in Chicago, Atlanta airport, and LAX. The least likely places to find a quick hook-up are Charlotte, Seattle, and Las Vegas.
