Imagine stumbling upon the blessing of being Keke Palmer’s baby daddy and fumbling it because you decided to log onto Twitter to publicly outfit-shame her. Because that’s exactly what her now ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson did.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, Palmer — who recently gave birth to her first son — has broken up with Jackson. Not only that but Palmer will be featured in the music video for the Usher song “Boyfriend.”

“Keke and Darius called it quits shortly after he called her out on Twitter for her outfit at the Usher concert. Keke is focusing on her work and her 6-month-old son. The actor and Darius have been co-parenting, but for now, they aren’t together,” a source told Entertainment Tonight

Jackson’s comments about Palmer’s outfit stemmed from what she wore to one of Usher’s concerts earlier in the summer.

“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” Jackson tweeted in response to a video of Palmer, wearing a sheer dress, being sung to by Usher at one of his Las Vegas shows. Less than a day later, Jackson deleted his Twitter account in response to the widespread backlash he faced.

In addition to the starring role in Jordan Peele’s 2022 film Nope, Palmer also recently had a voice role in the Pixar film Lightyear. She was also set to star in Aziz Ansari’s feature directorial debut Being Mortal, although production on that film was shut down and scrapped following a complaint against Bill Murray.

Currently, Palmer is attached to star in films such as Sister Act 3: Kicking the Habit, Moxie, Super Toys, and The Backup.

Palmer, 29 years old, made her acting debut in 2004’s Barbershop 2: Back in Business. She would then go on to appear in projects such as Akeelah and the Bee, Madea’s Family Reunion, The Longshots, and Shrink.
