What is it about Lamborghinis that makes people seem to crash them so often? Is it too much power mixed with not enough driving skill? Are people who drive Lamborghinis just dangerously overconfident because they are sitting in such a high-powered, expensive vehicle?
Whatever the reason, the next time you encounter a Lamborghini on the road, it might be best to just steer clear. Especially if there are two of them.
Because this week, a Lamborghini Aventador S driver and a Lamborghini Revuelto driver somehow managed to involve themselves in the same crash on a road near Cypress, Texas.
Emergency personnel reportedly arrived on the scene to find the Aventador completely engulfed in flames. Photos show the Revuelto with significant front-end and side damage, while the Aventador was almost entirely burned to the ground.
“Not something you see everyday,” the Cy-Fair Fire Department wrote on social media.
“Tower 7 and Medic 7 were informed by our Dispatchers that there was a vehicle on fire on the feeder road of 99 and Jack Rd. When units arrived, they found two Lamborghini’s involved in an accident, with one on fire.”
Fortunately, the Cy-Fair Fire Department reported that the chaotic crash injured no one. Other than the very expensive supercars, of course.

Multiple people claimed to have seen the Lamborghinis before the fiery crash
Road & Track reported that social media users claimed they saw the Lamborghinis prior to the crash and a red pickup truck was filming the vehicles.
“I was driving back home on 99 when I saw the fancy cars driving through that service road,” one alleged witness wrote on Facebook. “They were like filming something. There was a red pickup with two guys on the back filming as well.”
“Yep, that was them,” another alleged witness also claimed. “I ended up behind them from Cypress Rose Hill all the way to 99. The truck was filming the sports cars, but they were driving crazy the whole time and not letting other cars get around them.”
Police have not disclosed whether speed, impairment, or street racing were factors, and authorities have not made the drivers’ identities public. Additionally, authorities have not made any citations public yet.
According to Speed Suspects News, “The Aventador S is valued around $450,000, while the Revuelto trades closer to $700,000, bringing the combined loss to roughly $1 million or more.”
